Its easy to look back on your formative years and remember them fondly, without the grey bits. We think of the 70s like that - Bazza v Kenny, Hunt v Lauda, Zed Ones v GS Thous. And the 80s with Lawson, Spencer and the GPZ were pretty special too, and the 90s with Schwantz, Foggy, the Fireblade/916/R1 debate were pretty amazing...
We are Kev Taggart and Tim Rogers, two mates who share an obsession for motorcycles. We've owned dozens of modern bikes between us, trying to find that one bike that hit the spot. Unable to, we designed and built our own instead, something a little different, nostalgic, characterful.
We then formed Spirit of the Seventies in 2010 to create classic, stylish custom bikes with good usable performance for others who share our philosophy. To help them create their "forever" bikes and to fill their motorcycle void.
For an idea of what we can do for you, take a look at some bikes we've already made...

Kev, Tony & Tim
After 5 years we are making a bit of a swerve. We have decided its time to lock the doors on the workshop for the last time and embark on a new chapter for Spirit.
We are joining forces with Tony Scott and team at T3 Racing, engineers behind the Ace Café 904 S Thruxton, as well as a plethora of amazing road and race bikes. The new partnership fuses the engineering excellence of Tony and Cheif Engineer Dave Harris, with the design skills of Kev and the marketing knowledge of Tim at SOTS.
The link-up will allow the Spirit team, who have only ever carried out builds on a part-time basis, to offer a full-time, experienced and professional build team to complete the package.
As well as continuing to offer unique, one-off custom bikes, our first joint venture - Gemini Project - will see 100 limited edition customised, high performance Speed Triples, in 2 styles and many colour and spec options, sold in 50 Triumph dealers around the world. More info here.
The second project is a Moto2-style supersport bike for the road and race track - more on that soon, but here's a taster...
